Consultancy
For more than ten years, advisor to organizations on personnel and organizational development, leadership, talent and competency management, team development and facilitation of change processes.
For more than a decade, I have been advising international organizations in the area of Organizational Development, Leadership Effectiveness and Talent Management. Working closely with CEOs and their executive teams, I successfully facilitated the design and implementation of strategic change, talent management as well as learning and development initiatives worldwide. Furthermore, I am focusing on talent and leadership development, and career development (e.g., with regard to “Third careers”, i.e. goal-oriented groundwork for the professional development in later career stages) in advisory capacity. My philosophy as Organizational Development consultant, team facilitator and executive coach, is to help leveraging the potential of individuals and teams interconnectedly creating value for the entire organization – this is where my passion is. My working style is hands-on combining my practical know-how with latest scientific insights.
Trained as psychologist, my approach to professional development is solution focused underpinned by a resource-based view, systems and psychoanalytic theory. I hold a Masters degree with a Major in Work and Organizational Psychology and Systemic Family Therapy as well as a PhD in Psychology, Business Administration and Intercultural Communications from the University of Munich. My dissertations shed light on international personnel selection, self-directed career development and career success of executives and specialized personnel and how to foster innovativeness in organizations. Building on the insights gained, my latest book on career development provides practical advice for employees and employers alike. By emphasizing self-directedness, I stress the necessity and foster capability building for individuals to take more charge of their own careers.
Together with my husband and two sons I enjoy long walks, joint discovery and adventure tours, visiting theaters and museums as well as all different kinds of sports.
